Inspired by the beautiful colors of Hawaii and stunning landscapes and nature surrounding us.  As a child growing up on Oahu I would walk my dogs on the beach, play in the sand, surf, and paddle and hardly ever saw much plastic.  We saw shells and from time to time if you were lucky you would find a glass fishing float.  Now it is covered with plastic!

The plastic in this piece was found in less than 1 hour walking about 1/4 mile down Kailua Beach close to wear I grew up.  The fishing net was found by my husband and I one morning picking up beach trash.  SeaGlass from Stinson Beach, California and the plumerias from my mothers garden.
